Remembering all the books I've read proved to be getting more and more difficult by the month. I started this blog to keep track of anything I've read, answer the questions of those who need to know more before a purchase, or just need a recommendation. I'm not a professional blogger. I'm just a person who loves to read and hopes to find others interested in this genre; Interracial and/or African American Paranormal ... Basically ... As long as the lead is non-caucasian, I'm in.

R.I.P LA Banks
Just heard that LA Banks passed away today. Such sad news. Very sad news. I was honestly hoping she could pull through but God called her home. Rest in Peace.

Series' Being Cut Short
I've had choice words about series' that ended way before they should have. One of my top favorite series', Darkyn, by Lynn Viehl left a ton of questions unanswered because the publisher was ready for her to move on with her spin off.
The Negotiator Trilogy was also cut off premature because Murphy wanted to continue with her other series' instead.
And now this ...
Just the other day, Shadow Fall by Seressia Glass came out. It's the 3rd book in the Shadowchaser series and I just found out it's the last book in the series.
An interview http://qwillery.blogspot.com/2011/07/interview-with-seressia-glass-and.html?spref=tw ... "TQ: How many books are planned for the Shadowchasers series?
Seressia: At the moment, the third book will be the last. I hope to continue it in the future."
I, for one, don't feel like this author would have put in so much time in research to let a series go to do other things. Maybe her publisher didn't want anymore of Kira goin on but I am super sonic pissed. I haven't even bought the book yet, was planning to this week, and now I just don't want to because there wont be anymore. *smh* I'm a fan and now I'm a little hurt, lol, sounds ridiculous I know, but I was really looking forward to this.
